8. Go to Gwangju

In the second day, I went down to south area, Gwangju and Mokpo.

Waiting saemaeul train at the Yongsan station.

From this day, Saemaul train non-reservation seats are available because it is weekday.

Nowadays, Saemaeul train only left few in Janghang line. But in 2011, it had ran almost all lines so Saemaeul non-reservation seat is the highest seat level for Rail-ro users.

#1101 Samaeul Bound for Mokpo

Han river was flooding due to heavy rain last day.

Honam line is through into honam field. So it is easy to see broad field view in this line.

In present Honam Express Railroad had already built, but in those days it was under construction.

Arriving at GwangjuSongjeong station.

In the past, this station name was "Songjeong-ri".  After it had been included in Gwangju city, name was changed like this.

Because many passengers didn't know that this station also in Gwangju city and they kept going to the Gwangju station only.

Nowadays, this station has selected for KTX stop station and it has rebuilt to big station.

Former station was connected to subway directly.

Subway station name also changed to GwangjuSongjeong in present, but that day subway used old name "Songjeongni"

Gwangju subway use token ticket.

Tagging to pad when passengers get in paid-area, and put in the hole when get out.
