5. The top of the switch-back : Tong-ri station

Now return to north part of Yeongdong station.

Passing the opposite train at the Baeksan station.

That train is heading Busan which operated only on weekend.

Arriving at Tong-ri station.

This station had had very narrow platform.

Even there wasn't had any space to setting lights, so it hanged on trolley wire poll.

Actually, the standard rule about open the platform is 10minutes before that the train are arrived.

But in this station, the crew lock the door immediately when passengers leave the platform because safety. 

Still rainning outside futhermore, there were nothing to sightseeing near by Tong-ri station.

So wait the next train in the station.

There are a picture about incline railway which had existed at former Yeongdong line.

The waiting room was very quiet.

Actually, Tong-ri station had closed in 2012 because Soran tunnel had opened and trains don't have to ride this old track anymore

And now, one company is operating this station and tracks as rail-bike course.
